OPPORTUNITIES TO CONNECT

If you started attending ALC in the past year (or so), you are invited to a special meet & greet reception in the Church Auditorium, Sunday, September 17, 5:00. It will be a great time to meet our church staff and some of our leaders, as well as others who have recently begun to attend. It will be an informal time to share your story while enjoying a few snacks. You will have a chance to hear about opportunities to get better connected here at ALC. THIS COMING SUNDAY – SAM SCAGGS

This Sunday, September 17, Sam Scaggs will be joining us and preaching in the morning services. Sam and his wife, Bev, who live in Virginia Beach, VA, have been friends of ALC from the very beginning. Sam is a part of RUN Ministry, a global mission’s organization committed to partnering with the local church to:  RESCUE people from the evils of slavery; EMPOWER leaders with training tools; MULTIPLY church planting movements that impact their world for good. Sam will be sharing some of their mission work around the world as well as a message God has laid on his heart for us. 

HOLY LAND EXPERIENCE
This is an opportunity for a life-changing experience by walking where Jesus walked and being where the stories of the Bible took place. Steve & Barbara Wingfield will host this amazing trip, March 11-23, 2024. Brochures and more information are available on the Info Table in the church auditorium.
